At Palmerstown Pharmacy, your privacy is extremely important to us. We have a policy of protecting the privacy of information contained or gathered via this website or in-store. We safeguard the use of information that registered members of its online directories have submitted and any other services offered that members may reasonably expect to be kept private.
Personal Data Storage
We collect clients data in paper form when they complete Environ Consultation forms, these forms are normally completed in-store but sometimes are done over the phone. Name, Address, Phone, Email, and sometimes medical history are recorded on the forms.
The forms are stored in a private cabinet, and are not accessible to public, they are only accessible to designated staff of Palmerstown Pharmacy. The data is not uploaded to internet or computer database. On request, we will destroy the data by means of shredding the form.
We also collect clients data when the Online Environ Skin Consultation Form is completed. Name, Address, Phone, Email, and sometimes medical history are recorded. This data is stored on a secure server, serviced by our hosting company Blacknight (Company number 370845, Vat ID IE6390845P). On request, we will permanentely delete this data from our database.
When you register an account we store the data you have given us on our secure server. When you make a purchase we also store your data on our secure server. Data such as Name, Address, Phone, Email, product purchased is stored on our secure database.
To request a copy of your stored personal information, email or phone us and we will process your request once we have confirmed your identity.
We store your data indefinitely. If you wish to have your data destroyed, get in touch with us by email or phone, we will process your request in a timely manner.
Our Internet site is meant to be a service you. In order to provide you with the best products, excellent information and quality customer service, we record a variety of information from your visit to our site. We record your computer's domain name, information indicating which site pages you viewed, the address of the site you came from before visiting our site, and any search terms you used to find our site. We also record your email address if you chose to communicate with us via email. And, should we offer an online survey, we will record any information you provide us in that survey.
If you make a purchase on our website your card details will never be stored on our servers. Your card details will be directed to our Merchant Provider Worldpay, who are fully PCI compliant to level 1 (This is the most stringent level of certification available.)
All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Worldpay's internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Worldpay's infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn't share any credentials with Worldpay's primary services (API, website, etc.).
If you supply us with your postal address online you will never receive mailings from us unless requested by you. If you supply us with your telephone number online you may receive telephone contact from us regarding your order. We will not contact you by telephone about any of our new products or offers. We use e-mails to let you know about our new products and specials offers We never share or sell customer information with anyone. We assure all customers that any personal information disclosed to us during your time on our site will remain with us only. We will not share your personal information with any third parties.
A cookie is a string of information that is stored on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a website and is used to record how you use and navigate a website. Cookies enable us to understand who has seen which pages and advertisements, to determine how frequently particular pages are visited and to show us the most popular areas of our website. They allow us to enrich your experience of using the website by allowing us to tailor what you see on the site in accordance with your previous preferences and make it more user friendly.
Some products views are used for re-marketing. This means that if you view a product on our web-site you may be shown a Google Advert for this product on another web page.

What we track
We use industry standard third party tracking or persistent cookies through Google Analytics to track the number of visits to our website, where each visitor came from (i.e. the site visited prior to coming to our sites), what each visitor views on the website, whether the visitor proceeds to purchase products or abandons their shopping basket, and where each visitor goes to from our site (the next site visited after ours).
