How do I get rid of the little red veins around my nose and cheeks?

 

The little red veins around the nose area in the picture above are known as broken capillaries.

Sometimes these broken capillaries can be genetic but they are usually the results of sun damage, smoking and harsh temperatures or treating skin roughly. Over indulgence in alcohol and very spicy food can aggravate them and make them flare up.
